I think they are making a bit of a mockery of the competition, theyll break the rules for someone who wants £2000 for kitchen cupboards, but wouldnt break the rules for someone who rang in 7 minutes late for I think it was about £700 who genuinely needed the money. Plus some of the bills ive seen like cut and colour/budgeting/etc what kind of bills are they. When I signed up I thought it had to be for some form of utility/credit or mortgage/rent bill and I was also under the impression that this would be verified before paid out so I made sure I put my name exactly as it is on the bill as assumed they would want to see it first. Obviously the t&cs dont mean much! Rant over lol
I'm completely with you on this! I chose a monthly paper bill that I could produce if needed, thinking anything else would invalidate my entry - Hence why mine is under £200! Yup, some of those bills are ridiculous - still can't fathom a bill for 'budgeting' - Shouldn't that be 'lack of budgeting'?! And cut and colour a monthly bill? Pfffft! :rolleyes:0 -
Well someone else who had a legitimate claim has lost out now! What a shambles! Thanks for finding out.
I knowSorry I didn't really find out more, wasn't really feeling up to arguing today!

oh god dannian thats awful, really hope they let you have the money hun, especially as its gonna be under £200 bless ya.
I also submitted a genuine bill. It was my rent for one month and I did it to the exact penny lol !! Seems they just send a cheque for the amount requested, dont seem to need to prove and dont need to actually spend the money on what you said you were going to either. Grrrrrrrr, think tommorrow is the last day for this anyway now. Hope we get some MSE winners to make up for it x.Thanks to all posters and contributers :beer:0 -
