OK i've just had a response - basically it was just an admin error. The database randomly selects people and usually when it selects an ineligible entry it gets deleted. This one didn't get noticed and once it got read out on air (you'd think the DJs would also know the rules...) they thought it would be unfair to retract it - luckily for them that person never phoned in.2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89
2013: £134.960 -

I think they are making a bit of a mockery of the competition, theyll break the rules for someone who wants £2000 for kitchen cupboards, but wouldnt break the rules for someone who rang in 7 minutes late for I think it was about £700 who genuinely needed the money. Plus some of the bills ive seen like cut and colour/budgeting/etc what kind of bills are they. When I signed up I thought it had to be for some form of utility/credit or mortgage/rent bill and I was also under the impression that this would be verified before paid out so I made sure I put my name exactly as it is on the bill as assumed they would want to see it first. Obviously the t&cs dont mean much! Rant over lol0 -

I thought that it had to be for a 'proper' bill too and that they would want proof of it! I don't know who you need to address to make complaints about competitions though?2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89

Well if they were willing to pay someone £2000... Make sure you complain lots, if it's their fault the clicky thing wasn't working then you'd think they should give it to you

Clairesims - real shame it wasn't you this morning, that would have been the perfect end to your fantastic month for you!!
Good luck for the rest of the day everyone, I'm so sleepy today, even if I read my name it probably would not register in my brain it was me! I'm hoping OH does not get called out on air either as he will be in a meeting, and I can't very well go ringing in pretending to be a man??? or could I.........? :rotfl:
ETA Thanks blackmidnight for finding out the info re the £2000. I think last time it was on someone from a different country slipped through, or something, hmmm....0
