Hi all,
I have my eye on the following, at my local CO-OP:
BEKO 102cm LCD 40WLU530HID. It's £399.99, which seems a good price.
What do people think to that? Worth getting?
I am no snob when it comes to tvs but obviously I want a good picture and sound and no problems with it!? It will be used to watch tv and also I plan to link up my hard drive to it so we can watch things from that (films) and even play PC games on it. Does that sound plausible generally? And specifically, does this TV seem ok to do that sort of thing?
Thanks in advance.
Duncan

It's certainly a great price. I can't find a 40" cheaper. The best ones I can find are 60-80quid more. The TV on the other hand - I'm not sure, I'd need to read some reviews for it on google.0

I would not touch Beko with a bargepole, cheap & nasty. Pay a bit more for a decent make.

What problems do they have in particular, then? I must say, at that price I do wonder about the quality. But, surely these days it's going to be pretty good?

Put in Beko Tv review into Google & check out other people's opinion before you buy. You will see what I mean. As aliEnRIK says above I totally agree.
You really get what you pay for.

Fair enough. Had a read of that thread that was linked to - very interesting. Out of interest, what makes / spec. would you guys suggest I go for to get what I need without being cheap and nasty?
Thanks.
