Hi All,
I sold an xbox 360 game 2 months ago and the buyer has just sent me a message yesterday saying its not working.
It was definitely working when i sold it, i wouldn't have listed it otherwise.
I don't want too give them a refund, they said they have kept it for a Christmas present but how do i know its not just broken after 2 months or they have scratched it? If it was me i would have tested it when i got it anyway.
How do i politely tell them that i am not refunding them? I have just noticed they never left feedback so guess i am going to get a negative one now.

They have either copied it or got bored of playing it.I would ignore them.0

I have been looking on eBay and it seems they cannot claim via Paypal for a refund as its been more than 45 days is this correct? Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0

Yes 45 days from the date of payment is the limit so you are OK as far as a paypal claim goes. Its just whether you will accept it back as a gesture of goodwill.0

I am not refunding them as the item sold on 24th October and i feel they should have tested it before giving it to someone.
If they had told me ASAP after buying it then yes i would have refunded them.
It worked fine whilst we had it, it was only sold as my OH completed it.Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Looks like your 60 days for receiving feedback are up too. I wouldn't just ignore them, write a friendly email pointing out the issues we have discussed here and suggest they might have a temperamental machine.0

Just sent them this.
Good Morning,
This item was sold on 24th October so i am afraid i will not be issuing a refund as i have no proof that the game hasn't been used or damaged in the time period since this date.
It was working upon purchase and when it was posted to you.
I feel that you should have tested the game upon delivery if it was to be given as a present, we then could have come to a mutual agreement upon return of the game to myself.
I would suggest you clean the disc with a soft cloth and perhaps try it in another Xbox?
