  • I'm wearing my lovely stripy fluffy socks today and very glad of them I am too!

    -[STRIKE]Wash on 30 which will dry on airer[/STRIKE]
    -[STRIKE]Cleared out two bags of clothes for charity shop, two bags of books/mags on Freecycle and about a dozen items to eBay[/STRIKE]
    -NSD for me as not planning on going to shops
    -Storecupboard tea- not sure what but we have masses in so will make something yummy.
    -[STRIKE]Wrapped up warm so do not have to turn the heating up[/STRIKE]
    -Work on 2009 spendning/ saving planner in journal I had bought sister for Christmas but forgot to give her (she did have plenty of other stuff though so don't feel too bad about deciding to keep it)
    -Write two Dooyoo reviews on things I received for Christmas

    Think that's it for me- having a very lazy day is it my first and last day for ages that it's just me at home with nothing pressing to do.

    Great idea about the picture board Candy, if it motivates you to the things you want, then it sounds worth it.

    Now that xmas is over and i am finally beginning to get rid of this cold, i am determined and focused on my plans for 2009. Feel like i didn't achieve as much as i would of liked to this year and so am focused on the new year.

    Wow, everyone is busy today. I have not done much so far as treated myself to a lovely lie in. Went to see Twighlight at the cinema last night (sister had free tickets) and did not get back in til very late so my body was crying out for rest :)

    So far I have bagged a huge bag of "stuff" for charity shop collection (coming on Wednesday) and am working my way through decluttering, although getting distracted by this forum and Christmas films on the telly.

    My Mam is cooking us all a nice tea later so no spend there, although I have just treated myself to £13.50 worth of stuff in the Body Shop Sale online (used codes, Quidco etc so made a great saving ontop of usual sale discount, and looking forward to spoiling myself when the things come).

    Have a great day everyone.

    MrsAudus2b - wow! What lovely parents you have!

    Busy today so here's my list:

    * Been to Toys r us to change the New Years Present my OH got his daughter. For some reason he thought his 14 year old daughter would like walkie talkies! Then had to steer him away from Doctor Who Game and Remote control car! ARGH!!!! So if anyone heard a woman shouting "She's a bloody GIRL for christs sake!" in their local toys r us...that was me!!!

    * £1 in terramundi pot

    * Packed up some storecupboard food to take away with us tomorrow - will stop us buying too much while we are away

    * Washing at 30'c

    * Handful of coppers into Bertie Bassett

    * Saved £1 by not letting little one on the ride outside toys r us. He was having a tantrum so was dragged straight to the car instead! That £1 also going in terramundi!

    Sigh.....when do we all get back to normal!?!?
