I hope your Mum will be better soon.
My Step Dad was taken ill in The Canaries (Tenerife) a few years ago with heart problems and had to have an operation. The healthcare over there is very, very good so rest assured that she will get the best care.

my dad worried that much and first said he was in tenerif as they just been on a cruise for xmas so we looked for the hospital my mum was russhed in to and could not find it ... good job we looked i phoned him and there he was in Gran Canaria after we booked flights and car .. but got them changed quick luckly .. what a crap xmas . my freinds mum came over at 11am xmas day and fell over the babys toys and rupturd a tenden in her leg she had her opp yesterday so i feel bad about that. its just one thing after another get rid of 2008. its like one bad nightmare ... what else can go wrong. wow nothing i hope. thanks all for your replys and help apart from the bad ones.. when we got the call panic sets in after my dad saying there were blue lights and sirens on the amblunce . i do know my mum is stable now she has got phumoma and fluid on her lungs and she can not breath and they had to use shock treament as her hart stoped.. i can not wait to get there doing my head in taxi booked for 5am. see you all soon but thanks for your help people on here ..

my mum is home at last from Gran Canaria thank god.. what a load of messing about but gald now we got home late wednesday night and drove from london in the fog..and my mum and dad got home last night . they had to get 3 flights but with a nurse she was flown from the uk to Gran Canaria with oxegen for my mum for the flight... im so pleased she os ok. but still a little ill but she will be ok. i will never go to Gran Canaria ever not even for a hoilday. just make sure you all take out hoilday insurance.. worth every penny spent.. thanks for your help here guys...i could not belive that 4 pack of pills cost £140.. but well she is ok so happy she is home x I CAN SAY NOW HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS.. I WAS SO SCARED TO SAY IT... BUT HAPPY NEW YEAR FOR 2009 XX
