My mailings are so boring, I almost dozed off reading them.....snipped

Boots stopped sending me mailings - maybe I paid too much attention

I did ring CS, but nothing happened.

Incidentally your post raised a question (not at all boots related, sorry!) - since when have doctors given antibiotics for chickenpox? I always thought you just had to try not to scratch and wait for it to heal itself? Maybe I'm showing my age now?:o
When you can't resist and have to scratch and end up getting the blisters infected, I've still got the crater scars 30 years on

Oh, no fair, lucky lucky you! :j All the SAs in my local look at me as if I'm stupid  and most act as if I'm taking money out of their own pockets  when I get bargains and stuff! I wish I could find a nice SA like yours, hopefully there might be one at the branch near my new job - fingers crossed!

lol - I disguised it with the new No7 mineral foundation and a bottle of diet coke!!!

Much more subtle Melgirl, glad it worked for you, but Angie100's suggestion really made me laugh.:) which method should I try!

Just received my GWP freebies. Me happy with what I've got. Although the pendant thing is a bit odd. It will serve as 5 bits of pressies at some point. I've already mentally allocated the Olay and Max Factor things. There are vouchers in the Olay, MaxFactor and L'Oreal stuff as a warning (if keeping until next xmas).

I didn't order the Mens No7 stuff as I couldn't think of anyone to give it to.

    Now....where's the next glitch...
Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.

I went into boots new years eve and spend £30, and I got a £2 off digital prints voucher, not a £5 off no7 voucher

    :)
The bluey says on the back you can't use with any other coupon, but I have had success in the past, it all depends on choosing your SA carefully, as it is them that turn it down, the till seems to scan them fine iyswim? ( never go to the No.7 counter, they have glitch radars installed) Try using the photo counter, or perfumes. Or do you have self serve tills near you, they're good when glitching!
I don't think toothpaste is classed as healthcare, well, at least it wasn't in the last healthcare bluey?
  • Woohoo, the post is here!:j Seriously, some of you lot get your post way too early compared to round here. Still, our post just goes to prove boots do some weird things with their mailings - mine's here but my mam's isn't. We never do get them on the same day!

Still, I'm fairly pleased with the vouchers. No R&M for me:eek: , but I got:

    150 points on a £20 spend
Double points, can be used twice:T
    200 points on No7 skincare
100 points on S&G (must be a glitch here somewhere?!);)
    100ppoints on Lee Stafford haircare
45 points on a bottle of something called Appletiser
£2.50 off when you spend £10 on Healthcare

Just goes to prove that they're definitely targeted at you depending on your buying history at boots - I do occasionally buy Lee Stafford dry shampoo, have bought S&G in the past, also sometimes buy No7 skincare stuff, & regularly buy soft drinks when I'm in boots - usually only to make up the money for a spend, but they don't know that! Never heard of Appletiser though - anyone tried it?

Right, now the vouchers are here the mission starts - who's going to be brave enough to be the first to try a glitch with the mailing vouchers?;)
