  • Happy New Year everyone. Went to Boots today (well yesterday now) and they had the star pallete reduced to £5.72. I brought this so I could get my first bluey. Originally got one in the past promo for virtually nothing using ss tills but didn't think I would use it. Gave it my mom and it looks fab on her so I decided to get one and used a 250 point voucher.

    *Faints*

    You found a star palette!!!

People have been selling these on eBay for nearly £40 recently! (And no, I have been neither buyer or seller!)

Sorry in all the New Year celebrations yesterday I forgot to say my local had
Aquafresh clean & White toothbrushes for 61p
    Dentyl mouthwash - clove 63p
and one or two other dental thing very reduced
these were all on normal shelves with a sel of 'discontinued', so might be more widely availabe?

Thank you all so much for your hints and tips and heads up about Bootsy Bargains. I don't think i've been very helpful at all in that kind of way but i have enjoyed all the friendly bootsy banter and i enjoy feeling a part of the 'here come the girls' gang and i do so look forward to getting better acquainted with you all in 2009 and making use of your wonderful bootsy know-how (hopefully i will be able to contribute some helpful tips and glitches someday soon :D)

All the best to you all for a happy and healthy 2009!

thanks for the hilarious things I've read reading back about Droitwich and parcels. How funny. I wonder if mine can have a break at Harrogate? :rotfl: Do they have sun beds? :D

    Take care peeps. Laters xxxx

I think we should all have an awayday in Droitwich Spa, the 1st point on the journey of so many of our .com bargains!! It would be a bit like Elvis fans congregating at Graceland.:rotfl: Sally06, we can meet at the Bond St store and travel from there!

    What do you think?:D

last year it was online on 9th and instore on 15th. Someone said this year its is instore on 14th. Wonder if online will be the week before like last year-so 8th (but thats just a guess!!!)

Does the online sale start just after midnight on the day it's set to begin, or does it not go online until the morning? I remember something last year with people getting up at 6 a.m. or something to shop?
