Happy New Year everyone. Went to Boots today (well yesterday now) and they had the star pallete reduced to £5.72. I brought this so I could get my first bluey. Originally got one in the past promo for virtually nothing using ss tills but didn't think I would use it. Gave it my mom and it looks fab on her so I decided to get one and used a 250 point voucher.I may have lupus but it doesnt make me useless! I am a true believer in Karma, and am a typical cancerian. I have a hard outside, but am mushy on the inside.:o0

Have you seen how dust-free her table is in other pics? It's not natural  :rotfl:Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -

I am sure someone was looking for these, was it Princesswoo, for the mens favours?
Is it just me or would anyone else feel bad for selling a GWP Polls?(I'm probably asking because I've got a few - minus the points thing
but I'd never pay that much. Then again, I'd never spend too much trying to get one again :rotfl: )

I thought I was the only SAD FART that Martin often refers to! Still up at 2 am on New Years Day, but looking at this site! Glad to see there are a few of us about. Every time I nod offf to sleep a happy reveller, setting off his/her fireworks, wakes me up.
But I'm not complaining - glad they've got the money to WASTE ON BL**DY FIREWORKS!!0 -

True, it's not natural, but it was cleaned especially for the photo. As it is walnut veneer, it only needs a flick with a damp cloth and a dry tea towel, and even a woman of my great years can manage that. You haven't seen the rest of it, or the dolls behind the table.

I am with you on this, but I know people do buy them. I suppose its because we already have them that we feel like that. I have given loads in hampers and some as stocking fillers, and I still have some left.
I know they sell well on ebay, but I would feel guilty selling them. I dont know why really, as although the are classed as 'free' we had to pay to get the stuff to get them IYKWIM. Its very late to be this philosophical (can't even spell it)~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
sorry LITTLE CHICKEN I know this isnt boots relevent but I love your cats, what type are they ?
On Boots.com they dont show you what set you get free with the soap & glory offer of a £12 spend, unless Im misssing something.
I think I preferred the 342 offer they had on.
With the 342 you could also have got their new facial products. I got the new youthful serum @ £12 that everyone raves about yesterday, see if it takes a few years off me- I will let you know.
I have been trying really hard to get the soap & glory hand gift set but havent seen it anywhere and its sold out on line too.
Unfortunately In Scotland we are going to be deprived of Boots sotres for 2 days as they will be shut 1st & 2nd here.
My local store said it would have sunday opening hours on 2nd Jan so I'm hoping it's the same for all Scottish stores.0 -
recovering_spendaholic wrote: »Wow that is impressive! How many points did all that cost you? I have £209 worth of points and haven't spent any yet!
Hi Recovering spendaholic (What a great name) I spent 23901 in points and it felt great. I got less items than last year but was more selective, and instead of just getting any old tat, I went armed with a list and bought many of the higher priced items.
All I have to do is find somewhere to put them. I thought there would be masses of space after all the Christmas presents went, but theres not~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
