True, it's not natural, but it was cleaned especially for the photo. As it is walnut veneer, it only needs a flick with a damp cloth and a dry tea towel, and even a woman of my great years can manage that. :p You haven't seen the rest of it, or the dolls behind the table.

am with you on this, but I know people do buy them. I suppose its because we already have them that we feel like that. I have given loads in hampers and some as stocking fillers, and I still have some left.

I know they sell well on ebay, but I would feel guilty selling them. I dont know why really, as although the are classed as 'free' we had to pay to get the stuff to get them IYKWIM. Its very late to be this philosophical (can't even spell it)

:rotfl: Buy the rustic Oak Polls - it's so bad it's good :D

Give 'em away. I'm giving up on chasing No7 GWPs - well, till the next time at least. I can't be doing with them ;)

Night Polls and all x Three glasses of wine and I can keep a connection but can't write or spell or think to save my life  ;) :rotfl:

Just heard "Donald, Where's Your Troosers", on TV and realised that New Year's Eve's over Sandra ;) :rotfl: (My dd spends 100's on fireworks  :o - doesn't take after me :A lol)

Btw, it's good to be an insomniac - when the sales are on ;)

Night peeps, thanks for the hilarious things I've read reading back about Droitwich and parcels. How funny. I wonder if mine can have a break at Harrogate? :rotfl: Do they have sun beds? :D

    Take care peeps. Laters xxxx

Donald where's your troosers :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ! Oh that takes me back, Andy Stewart, and then Moira Anderson at the White Heatherrrr Club!

I used to love it when AS did his Elvis take on Donald (laughing just thinking about it!) and actually, when I think about the things we used to laugh about in the Good Old Days, I fear for my sanity.

I remember at holiday camps, the comedian would suddenly say "...... my eye", and all the audience would yell " ..... and Betty Martin!" and laugh till the tears ran down our poor, but happy, faces.

Why? What's funny about that? It's absolutely ridiculous. We really were Sad Farts!

PS - I apologise profusely to anyone who can remember that phrase, and is offended, and who may still fondly think of it, with a little chuckle, and does not consider themselves mad. Or sad. You are not the Sad Fart - I am, cos I can't see the joke. (Phew! Hope I've wriggled out of that one!)

My local store said it would have sunday opening hours on 2nd Jan so I'm hoping it's the same for all Scottish stores.

Unfortunately not - i got the info from the web. Only the bigger scottish stores will be open on the 2nd the rest open again on the 3rd.
Those that are open the 2nd will have sunday hours.
Everyone can check you local store here just to make sure.

Happy new year to everyone & I hope its a good one for you all.

I'm reading the thread backwards and thought for a minute that rustic Oak must be a new shade of foundation from No7 :rotfl:

Re: the new No7 GWP, DD fancied one but after reading how flimsy the contents were she wasn't so keen. There's a decent sized black patent crocodile effect clutch bag with 3 minis of fragrance, Coleen, Britney's Curious and Kerry Katona's Outrageous, half price at £6 in the fragrance sale at the moment. She bought one and is thrilled to bits with it.

Happy New Year to all :D

sorry LITTLE CHICKEN I know this isnt boots relevent but I love your cats, what type are they ?
On Boots.com they dont show you what set you get free with the soap & glory offer of a £12 spend, unless Im misssing something.
I think I preferred the 342 offer they had on.
With the 342 you could also have got their new facial products. I got the new youthful serum @ £12 that everyone raves about yesterday, see if it takes a few years off me- I will let you know.
I have been trying really hard to get the soap & glory hand gift set but havent seen it anywhere and its sold out on line too.
Unfortunately In Scotland we are going to be deprived of Boots sotres for 2 days as they will be shut 1st & 2nd here.

    Thanks Cat 72:D

They're British Shorthairs - A lilac colourpoint - that's the big boy, and a blue/cream tortie, that's the naughtie little girl. The reason I was up so early this morning is that they had taken over my side of the bed.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Happy New Year by the way you lovely bootsers.:beer::beer:
