    Hi guys

I had to eventually bow out at 12.40am but great respect to everyone who did stay up and if I'm honest it was mighty unfair you didn't get rewarded for it, hopefully it will happen at 12am tonight so it wont be an all night job again.
Just a quick question, is this gift set the one that was a free gift from Sanctuary not so long ago that had a free £3 Sanctuary moc in it?

Am thinking might be good for presents for the grandparents from my boys. My basket is so big, if when the sale does start a lot of it is still in stock I may have to delete some items.

The GWP one was in a silver box earlier in the year (before mothers day)

I hope this wasn't aimed at me. When I said I had a good laugh at the posts by those who had got up early, it was because I was in exactly the same position last year - getting up early (which is how I discovered this website in the first place). I was laughing at them fondly rather than nastily. :D

As if *JT* :rotfl: (But don't remind me about those early mornings please - I couldn't bag a blo*dy thing lol)

Although I did spot an earlier post where a poster took a potshot at me by very nearly quoting one of my 'moaning posts' verbatim .... when the post was made when they were (allegedly) on holiday!  You have to laugh :rotfl:

Let's go and sit in the paranoid corner and wait for the sale to start ;)

Lol...I was laughing at all these pages (not the people!) too, because last year I was one of the folk that got up at dawn for far too many mornings and got nothing, lol!!!!

Lets face it, if we couldn't have a laugh at ourselves for all this mad behaviour then there would be something far wrong, no?

  • Hi everyone, this is my first post in the Boots thread, I've been reading through all the post for the last couple of weeks and got some really good ideas. I'm afraid I'm no where near as savvy as some of you ladies.

I've bought quite a bit from the 50% sale (only stuff I know I will use) but what I wanted to know is the 75% sale 75% of the original price or off the now price, probably wishful thinking that its off the now price.

Well done to those who stayed up last night

It's 75% off the original price, but you've got to bear in mind that all the gifts were 3 for 2 before xmas so really the 'original' price was never charged (IYKWIM!!). So the (3 for 2) price was always 33% less than the RRP price. Does that make sense ??
