Thanks for your post. Really nice words.

We were all posting so much to keep each other going through to 03.00.

I managed to 4am and fell into bed, up again at 6 to feed baby and get ready for school run. Just home now!!!

My basket is filled with toys and gifts to see me through to Christmas 2009. This 75% sale will be a life saver for me as well as many others on here - goodness knows what the next year holds for us all.

So if a little bit of light hearted chat/banter offended people then I'm not sorry. I personally think there are more important things to get stressed over.

CPG will be back soon and a new thread will be started, once the 75% happens - whenever that may be :rolleyes: - it will be ever so quiet on here again.

I wonder how many of today's posts will be

"Can't find any glitches/offers/bargin's because of chat"
"Not being funny but can you cut down the chat makes hard reading for all the glitches"

etc etc it really is swings and roundabouts everyone....

Firstly big hugs & strong coffees to those brave & d edicated enoughwho were on sale patrol last night.
It must have been really hard waiting , and then for bargains not to appear.
I woke up at 3 but went straight back to bed.
If only Boots knew there was a shoopers que last night- like you used to get round the shops on boxing day.

Last year the 9th was a wednesday and it started instore tuesday.Boots work their system round days not dates.

I strongily suspect it will start Friday now- possabily with free/reduced shipping. One to boost weekend profits- mid month. Also because the items wont be delivered before the stores sale meaning boots could get 2 bites at the cherry.
Im not buying anything from the 50 % sale this now as they will definately need to reduce stuff & get rid of stock.

To all the ladies and gents who waited for the sale last night, maybe you can avoid upsetting anyone by posting on boots refugees if you stay up again tonight . It keeps this board clear, and you can post as much as you like. I am sure Broclo will agree with this as she posts a lot oon there.

So which poster stated that 75% was starting today?

I feel sorry for all of you that stayed up for absolutely nothing.

I'm gonna phone their customer service team and try to find out and probably won't get anywhere as they are useless when it comes to information. This confusion annoys the hell out of me. How are we supposed to know when store staff or customer service advisors don't know? Last year I woke up early to get to a store only to find out it was still at 50%. Luckily I was determined enough to do the same the following day and I was rewarded.

On another subject, I think it's time that we all complained about the performance of their website collectively. Their old site was pretty bad, but the current one is one of the worst I've ever seen.

Hi, yes they should stay there unless the item goes out of stock. When that happens you will be told when you refresh your basket.

It all depends if it goes out of stock before the 75% off sale starts if you know what I mean? If you put things in your basket, and then someone else buys it, it will disappear when you try to check out. Also a few people have encountered errors when placing things in their basket during the 50% of sale....ie...placed all their items in their basket, then 50% off sale started and they couldn't log in.

So its all bit hit and miss really...
