Im wondering if the £2.50 off £10 healthcare voucher I got in my mailing can be used on bachs remedies ? It can definately be used on vitamins so a good deal.Plus I would get a blinkie blue.
I used mine yesterday on the Bachs remedies (The 342 offer) I checked first if it was classed as healthcare, and it is. I am so used to being told 'This isn't healthcare' I was quite surprised) I dont think they will work on the Bachs remedies in the half price sale though, Or does somebody know different.(Prior to xmas it wouldnt)

If you spend £10 will you get two blinkies? I've had it before, but wasn't sure whether this is boots policy, or I just had a lovely SACraftster.com is eating all my free time!0

Just a quickie please - does anyone know if the s&g glam bag has a voucher inside? Also any voucher in the s&g pamper set - don't really want to attempt to open this one as I'll never get the repackaging right, lol. Was lucky enough to get these in my little local boots. They had 5 of the big sets left out so I was very pleased :j
Many thanks

Hi agatha misty, List of items with vouchers in vouchers here compiled by op~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
KJ1980 bagged me over a dozen sets in the 90% sale last year
OMG i just nearly had a heart attack 90% off WOOHOO:T
Almost bought them at 50% off price when someone said they dont go down anymore in price, but i then thought no harm in waiting another week or two as there was hundreds of them in boots today.
Dont think i could hold out for 90% as i only want 5 of each set.
But i could always buy them at 75% off keep my receipt and return them if i still see loads on sale at 90% off and rebuy them. But i dont know if i have the guts to return 10 sets, what excuse would i use, i dont think im returning these cos there cheaper now and i then want to buy them back excuse would wash with 99% of my store's SA's.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T

The till will only prompt for one, so it is down to the goodwill of the SA.
It happened to me, I went up with 2 shops and asked her to split them as I wanted 2 pinkies and she told me not to worry she would give me 2 anyway. (bit embarassing when I realised I had miscalculated and it only came to £8.**, but she still gave me 2 anyway!0 -

I could be wrong but I think some Boots can be funny about returns on items like this but if you buy on .com they have to take them back under distance selling laws or something like thatBusy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0 -

There doesn't appear to be many left on .com. Tried adding 99 to the basket to test it, and it comes up with 'Limited Availability'.0 -
blue_monkey wrote: »HI everyone, not been on for ages but kids are back to school tomorrow and roads permitting the Boots voucher I got for Xmas is burning a hole in my pocket..... along with the £65 on my points card of course!!
Sorry to ask but can someone tell me what a blinkie is and min spend. No 7 offer and where people are getting the vouchers from as the bits people are mentioning on the last few pages are not on page 1 and I've gone back a fair few pages and I cannot find anything.
Also, I got a hairdryer from .com for myself for Xmas (from kids) it is supposed to have 3 heat/speed settings but it seems to be hot slow, hot medium, hot fast. It is so hot it burns your head. I've not used a hairdryer for a while (short hair until now) so is this the norm for hairdryers or is there one with warm/med/hot setting as well as slow/med/fast. Do you think I'll be able to send it back as faulty - I may have the packaging it came in but it has been in the bags in the snow waiting to go to the tip. Any recomendations for a decent hair dryers? Thanks
A blinkie is my name for the new voucher, which is for £5, like the old pinkie, but is blue. We've had 2 blue vouchers recently, which we called a bluey, and I called the next one a bluey two-ey.
We're all mad on here, and I feel stupidly excited that so many people have adopted my name for the voucher, and keep rushing in to my DH saying "They're using my name for the voucher!!". :j :j He, of course, is fast asleep, snoring and f*rting in the chair. Nobody told me it was going to be like this, back in 1966 ...............
The main thing, regarding the hairdryer, is that when your children gave it to you, they didn't love you so little, that they thought you'd love a burnt head for Christmas. "Oooh", you would say "just what I wanted! Cremated hair!". Other friends would look on enviously and say "Me too please!!".
Forget about sending it back. Your purchase was from Boots, not whoever made the thing, and they are responsible. If you ordered it from dot com, they would have records showing your transaction which you can just print off. Go to My Account and scroll down.
A visit to your local Boots, with a pleasant, but determined and firm approach is called for. Go to Electricals and go straight for the jugular. Ask to speak to the Manager. The SA will possibly say "May I help you Madam". :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
They may deal with you there and then, or they may listen to your long story and then say "I think you need to speak to the Manager".
At this point, try not to cry, or bang your head against a handy wall. Remember you are a Bootser! Your Country Needs You! Explain to the Manager that this is not only unsuitable for your glorious tresses, but downright dangerous.
If you have any stick from him, tell him you'll get your friend Sandra Scarlett to sort him/her out, and she will contact the media, and it will probably be on News At Ten tomorrow.
Regarding "Soapgate" as a possible present for a teacher, I used to be one (aged 14 - 18 year olds, and I loved it!), and if I ever got a present I was thrilled. At this age, they tended to be from the kids themselves, and I was so touched, it was lovely. Offended by soap? Never!
Regarding Astral and Nivea, Joanna Lumley says she uses Astral. I am a bit of a Doubting Thomasina over this, like we're supposed to believe that Eva Whatsit from Desperate Housewives colours her own hair.
Yeah, I can imagine her in her pristine bathroom in Hollywood with it all dripping over the floor! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Thats what gets me wondering about returns.
I wanted to return some a make up gift set before xmas and CS said NO cos its a cosmetic and these cant be returned, yet others returned them no problems.
I have just used a No7 nail varnish i got before xmas and it has all peeled off. Its like that peelable stuff you get for little girls, took me ages to do my nails (trying to keep my hands busy so i dont have a cig, the patches are working a treat) im really disapointed, the colour is gorgeous, i made sure i had no residue of hand cream or anything on my nails so that cant be the reason. SO can anyone think of why it would all just peel off, ive only ever had this happen with cheap cheap nail varnish many many moons ago. I havent got time to redo them no im just gonna have to clean of the little bits and go bare tommorrow.
Its the No7 Stay perfect nail colour ''damson dream'':TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

It's just gonna be a case of wait, look and pray!
I asked an SA today if they still had lots of stock in their stock room ready for the 75% off sale and she said no, but that they get pallettes in especially for that!!! So even if there isn't that much on the shelf, it sounds like it might be worth going in on that day (that elusive day!) anyway. There were also some young SA's I've never seen before unloading pallette loads of stuff onto the shelves.Make £2012 in 2012 member #88
