It is so hot it burns your head. I've not used a hairdryer for a while (short hair until now) so is this the norm for hairdryers or is there one with warm/med/hot setting as well as slow/med/fast. Do you think I'll be able to send it back as faulty - I may have the packaging it came in but it has been in the bags in the snow waiting to go to the tip. Any recomendations for a decent hair dryers? Thanks
Take it into store, don't worry about packaging, but take proof of the order/delivery note or something. Tell them it's faulty and burning your head, they should let you exchange it for something else, even if they won't give you a refund... I have this theory that chocolate slows down the ageing process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?0 -
Fairly good Bootsing Day for me today.
Shop one, bought various *sleep aids* (aka Medised/ Ibuprofen) for DD2 as she insists on skriking in the middle of the night  - tried the £2.50 off healthcare wys £10 but beeped, SA said they're not scanning and gave me £2.50 back out of the till
There are double points on childrens pain relief and Calprofen on £1 off at £2.5x atm (can never get this off GP  but find it good for teething/ reducing temp and lasts for up to 8 hours)
Asked for my Blinkie (love it SS) as not given one.
Went in search of exchanging DD2's dressing gown (turquoise spotty one) as BF bought her small size than she isfor xmas but OOS everywhere
Then found No7 rainbow eye pallates reduced to £3, had OAP mummy with me (she comes in handy for something :rotfl: ) got 2, used a blinkie, 40p to pay :T . Then I wombled a Blinkie (first one I found despite much searching  ) and got 2 reduced No7 autumn collection lip/cheek stain for 40p as before :j:kisses2:Yesterday is history. Also found 1 lonely S&G Stand by your Manicure which I paid for with points! Only bit of S&G I've managed to find in the sales!!
Well done for getting the 500pts:T :T
My 250pt vouchers from the Christmas sale items (Valid until March 09) wouldnt scan at all today. All had to be added manually 250 pts (only). It wouldn't even scan on the SS till:eek:
It makes me wonder if it depends on what store they are scanned in, as my other 250pts (from the GWP valid until Jan 09) scanned perfectly, no problems at all. Yet a lot of people reported that they would not scan for them.
Why do these things vary so much store from store? Is it a plan to confuse us, well it's working.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
I was going to resist the 75% sale as don't really have the spare cash and don't truly need anything but all this talk of it has made my little heart a-flutter!! I am off work on a Tuesday and Wednesday too so don;t even have that to stop me!!!:p
Just a reminder to all those peeps who want blinkies with minimum spend - manufacturers coupons count towards your spend as the till sees them as cash. I was using the £3 off Huggies little walker coupons when they were on promo and still getting a pinkie even though I was only handing over £2 in physical cash.0 -

Thanks, I've got the packing notes here so that should be fine. It feels like I am always taking things back to that store...0 -
alexandrite wrote: »Discovered today that you can't use the 250=500 No.7 Points voucher on sale No.7 items, the till bleeped when I tried to use a 250=500 No.7 Points Voucher against a No.7 Toner that was reduced to £2.50.
OK resorted to Plan B tried a full priced packet of No.7 wipes @ £6.36 used blinkey and a 250=500 No.7 voucher paid £1.36 and received 500 *Offer Points*:j.
Lovely glitch for the start of the new year.:D
Thank you for posting this, you have just explained why my vouchers wouldnt scan (although they were added manually) I was using them with reduced No 7 items. Even the No7 SA didn't twig this.
Does anyone know if the SS tills will scan them as 500pts with full price products??~ What goes around comes around ~0
