I had a great shop today:

Managed to get 6 of the Pantene sachets, earning a Blinkie (love it SS). used it to buy last chance to buy no 7 stuff - 2 x No 7 Lisa Eldridge make up pallette - silver case containing i think 2 blushers, 4 eye shadows, 2 lip glosses, a blusher brush, and a double ended eye shadow / lip brush...does anyone know if this was an old GWP or if not how much it had retailed for...I paid £2.50 so got 2 with my blinkie free. Then found an old No 7 gift with purchase - the pink box containing loads of little bits. These were £3 each so bought 2 with my Pantene points. Somehow earned another Blinkie so bought 3 no 7 intensive line smoothing creams on 3 for 2 £3 each so only a pound to pay. Earned another blinkie (?!!! - I'll go to this SA again!) and bought 2 more of the smoothing creams and a no 7 glisten gloss on 3 for 2 so paid another pound...bargain!! However, no 7 vouchers beeper every time...does anyone know why, SA wouldn't accept them. Should I have asked her to override these? Didn't want to highlight the fact that I was getting loads of stuff for next to nothing and would actually have been getting paid to take them away if she's have allowed this too.

On the note of teachers and soap...I'm a teacher (although on maternity leave now) and I love getting anything from my pupils / form (ages 11-18). One year was given an ornament of a hedgehog in a bucket...completely random but the girl that gave it to me had obviously got it herself which was so sweet so still have it. Another one bought me a pen knife!!! Not sure what she thought I might need to do with this!! However, I also always buy somethign for the members of my form...usually in the January sales and have my eyes open all year to buy bits for the register monitor as well, so it's not all take take take haha!

Virtually - Well done on your shop, the pantenne bottles are better value in volume terms.

If an SA refuses to scan the voucher for whatever reason, just smile sweetly and say - ''will you just try it please'' they cant really say NO and if they do say NO i would tell them to cancel the transaction as your going to pay elsewhere. Then try another SA hopefully this one will be nicer.

Different SA's seem to interperet (sp) T&C's in different ways.

You WILL get another blinkie as long as your total after all vouchers still totals £5.00, so if you were using 1 to get the NO7 blusher and only paid £3.85 then NO you wont get 1 back but if you spent another £1.15 to make it to £5 then you would get another.

Nuninge - Did the No7 items you buy have the reduced barcode sticker on with a penned on price if so the vouchers wont scan on these, only the reduced no7 stuff that has the price reduced on the SEL and not on the item itself.

I too have bought a few no7 nail varnishes with the last pinkies and it didnt even last 1 full day without chipping I was not impressed and will not be buying again pinky or blinky

Off topic I'm sorry but for anyone that has children, do you know of a good company to start the child trust fund with. My little ones £250 voucher came through this morning. Managed to get a leaflet from LLoyds about theirs and now slightly on topic, they give you £20 in Boots vouchers if you open one with them lol but don't think this is reason enough. If anyone has any advicde please PM me. TIA.

The No.7 SA....Yes I did say the No.7 SA at my local branch is really good and is more that happy to let me use all my vouchers! Brought the clearance produces at 3 for 2 with blinkys and 250 points vouchers with no problems...didnt even need to sneak to the normal tills to try it!

Gives me hope, thank you! Think I might just try another store tomorrow...not that I am looking for excuses to buy any more or anything! Really though, I would love to use the 250 points vouchers whilst there are clearance items on No7 although I haven't seen many of those in my stores. Will try another and keep my fingers crossed they let me use the 250 points vouchers too, thanks. Hadn't even considered the possibilities of NO7 342....will do now, thanks!

Ooh.. just checked online and the Gilette Fusion Bags I bought in store at £6.53 are online at £4.23..but out of stock. Do you often find price differences like that online and in store?

Friad not- been keeping my eye on stores in South East London and they have all pretty much sold out by now- or just have one or two products left (like out of the entire range) so will have sold out by the time the 75% off sale comes in...

Maybe we need a nationwide search! then all club together and hire a coach.....!!:rotfl:

can i just ask about the olay gwp, how does it work out free? I'm going back to my big boots next week in time for the BIG sale!! So was gonna see if they had any, just wanted to know what to do if I found one!!

Really! Wow- mine don't seem to chip for ages! Its the fast dry stuff I have- is that what you have bought? Its almost as good as the Chanel I stole from my mum (Really hope she didn't take up my suggestion and join the site now!!)

Sorry to be a pain i the !!!, but does anyone know if the 250 points voichwer works on reduced gift sets please?

Went to Boots today as had vouchers burning a hole in my brag book
I got Bourgois tweezers 87p after voucher
Bourgois sharpener - free with voucher
No7 mineral blusher - £3.56 after Blinkie and got free make up purse - both of which I both needed
I also got 3x Pantene sachets, shower gel, No7 Betty Blues nail varnish, gained another Blinkie and 300pts, paid £1.12 for nail varnish and 93p for Sanex shower gel
I also got Sanctuary big box xmas gift thingy, was £20 now £10. There was one left so decided not to wait for 75% off. The contents are lush, I especially love the lavender eye mask, im off to lie for a while with it on.
