Several people have PMd me with things to look out for, so I'll PM them back, unless I see a helpful-to-all glitch, which I'll post.
Have had to calm my Bootsing Pal down, now that she found out you can get a £5 Blinkie! She has been dancing with gay abandon, round my kitchen yelling "I'm getting a Blinkie, fal lah lah lah laaaaaah"!!! :T :T :T She is 65.
Have wrapped ourselves up warmly, and are now ready to depart. Tally Ho!!! Provided we don't get arrested will report back.
PS - I thought the site had been invaded by aliens, cos It Wasn't There. Then I saw it! "When is the 75% sale?"!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
:T Sandra, I love your posts - they never fail to make me smileand I snorted (very unattractively, I may add) @ "provided we don't get arrested.......". Hope you and your friend have a wonderful day's shopping and get loads of lovely bargains
I have an image in my mind as the 2 of you like Edina and Patsy from Ab Fab
You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

Hiya!
With the 75% off sale, will it start as soon as they open, i.e all signs etc being up and everything reduced or will it happen later in the day?
I'm only asking because I have an exam at 1pm so if it doesn't start when they open i'd be wasting valuable (sp?) revision time?!:o0 -
when i went to by local store the signs werent up, i got there as soon as it opened, anyway i did a price check on a item and it was 75% off0

Has anyone ever ordered anything on .com that required pharmacist approval (meaning medications that they normally sell over the counter but you have to buy them at the pharmacy counter)? Does it hold your order up? I popped a pharmacy item in my order last week to bring the total up to free shipping, and now I wish I hadn't as I don't know if/when they will approve it. As I ordered in the wee hours of the new year, everyone was probably on holiday. And the main goodies I was getting will be out of stock if they didn't set them aside for me. And I will be MAD as I knew there were extra points code I could use if I waited, but I didn't want those items to be out of stock. It's what I get for messing with bleeping .com ordering <sigh>.
I don't know if it helps any but during one of my many conversations with CS I was told that when .com gets your order, its then sent immediately to the warehouse, where the warehouse guys pick your order, and set it aside for dispatch? So maybe your items will just be put aside until the pharmacy one is ready

Yip, i added some headache tablets onto an order i did around the start of november to bump me up over £75 and get the extra bonus points. It took ages to process hun, and came about 4 or 5 days after the estimated delivery date boots had given me (first time ever my .com delivery was later than the estimate). I'm not sure if it helps but i had some BOGOF whitening toothpaste in that order, which went out of stock a few days after i ordered and it still came in my order the next week. So fingers crossed yours will to. HTH x:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0
