Just went to Boots and it was really quiet, picked up 4x Pantene sachets and some other bits and bobs. When I paid it was cash only due to the system being down, but did 2 transactions and got 2 blinkies.

Anyway, only standard points awarded on the Pantene - I'm hoping because the goods were input manually and not because it's been fixed. Will have to take them back later and try to repurchase in another store.

Just thought, will have to make sure they only deduct the standard points when they refund, and not the offer points too.

And if there's any mention of you not getting one, keep your receipts and get em when you get to a big store :)

I just tried the £5 No7/R&M blinkie (is that what they are called now? blue pinky......I see....!) on the R&M i-brush at £5.87 & it works! I remember last time it worked on some R&M brushes & not others, this is called the eye shadow brush on the SEL, code 20-74-451. I'll be interested to know if this works on any others as these are great brushes for only 87p! Hope this helps someone.
By the way, still LOADS of sale stock in my store, so looks like everyone is holding out for 75% day (when was that again? Ha Ha, just to remind everyone, as far as we know it's the 14th).
  • Can I just ask what a blinky is please?

    Hi
It's the new blue £5 voucher being given in stores when you spend £5. Named as it's blue but it's like the old pinky hence blinky!

Hi all Off Topic I know but I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is a Boots at Edinburgh Airport that is thru the security side. Have just booked holiday for July to Paphos and we normally fly from Glasgow and get things like meal deals and toiletries after we have been thru security. I know its a while away yet but we had to pay for our check in baggage and your only allowed 1 bag each  TIA
Your fooling no one bar yourself.

I am not posted on this thread before but have been trying to get my head around all the info here over the past few days, it is a fab thread :T

This afternoon, I am going to boldly go where you have all been before - to Boots with my blinkie :j :j :j

I have, of course, been to Boots many times......but never as well informed as I am now ;) Thank you all

Yes, I am a newbie to the thread BUT I will not be asking when the 75% sale starts :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

The boots in edinburgh airport is before you go through security. When I was there a couple of months ago they had a good selection of mini bottles etc that can be used with the 100ml limits.
