  • Whilst we're all in the trenches, waiting for the call to stampede, could someone kindly explain the following to me please.

I've noticed that sometimes people (like me) say "see here", and print a long address like http://mseabcxyz.co.uk, whilst others say "see here", and it's the same address.

I've achieved my "here" by changing the colour of the text, a bit like a neighbour of ours, in the 1950s, who bought a tap with "H" on it, and got her husband to fix it, thinking it would make the water hot!!!! History Lesson: In those days, we were made of tough stuff, and only had cold water!!

I'd really appreciate any expert explaining in nice, simple terms, what I have to do please for my here to mean something. Thank you.

PS When does the 75% sale start please? Thank you. Stop pelting me with mouldy oranges!

Oh you spendthrift Sally, a whole 2p  Seriously though well done. :T :T

Where is everyone finding the reduced No 7 is it on the No 7 Counter or on the clearance?

yes a whole 2p;) Got to be careful with money now with the credit crunch:rotfl:

pollsdolls, I'm finding the reduced stuff on the normal shelves. I don't think we will be wombling many vouchers now, unless regular shoppers (as opposed to mad bootsers like us) think you can't use the vouchers on reduced products. That was me before I found this thread (naive:o ) I used to read the T&Cs and believe it:eek:

Sandra, highlight the word 'here' by using your mouse or finger, if using a laprtop. Then while the word is highlighted click on the little world/globe at the top of the box you are typing in (the world/globe that looks like it's wearing a pair of glasses). A box will pop up with a single line to type in the URL (the page you want to link to) now type or paste in the web address/page which might look something like this http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com. Click ok and then the word 'here' will become a link.

I have a migraine at the mo so i'm hoping that i have made this all understandable! Perhaps someone else could give you a more easily understood explanation :rotfl:

    Just a quick update.
I telephoned cs to ask why I couldn't spend my points on some of the Clarins products. Lovely lady said that there was no reason for this and if it happened in future to ask sa to telephone the Advantage card team and that they would put £5 worth of points on my card.

    Sandra,
1)..Highlight the text where you want your link to be e.g Sandra link. and make it bold or any colour you want.
    2)..Then copy your link
    and then click on this
    createlink.gif
3)..On the toolbar of the message window. It will open up, there will be http:// in it, just delete it , and paste in your own link.
4)..Click on OK and it should appear like this Sandras REAL link

I think £6 is a bargain. Just the products inside are worth more than that and thats without the glove. I have no idea what the glove is for, I suppose it could be a massage glove. I have had one since October, but it is still in the box!

Did they have any other S&G stuff in Beckton?. I reeeeally need to go there as soon as the sales finish in-store.

Had a quick look on .com and the cheapest R&M item was the liquid eye colour ar nail varnish both at £8.81.
