Went into Boots today as I thought that I would treat my dd to her favourite Clarins products. They had a lovely body lotion on offer but the sa said that I couldn't use my advantage points on that or the Clarins gift sets.

The 50% sale started on boxing day. The herbal essence is 100 points when you buy shampoo and conditor, cheapest seems to be 1.80.

Im sure you should have been able to use your points, its only baby milk, stamps and a couple of other things you can't use points on.

Can you use the no7 £5 off voucher on reduced items.

If you can i am not happy as there was loads of reduced stuff (about 4 massive shelves worth) in my boots today, but i was told by the SA that you couldnt and she point blank refused to scan the voucher.

I wonder why that is?

I know its a different thing entirely but i paid for a Calvin Klein Euphoria aftershave/shower gel gift set with points this week. It had been £35.00 but was reduced to £17.50 and i was allowed to pay using my points no problem. Did the assistant even try to put the sale through using points or did she just say 'no'?
