That's such a horrible YT..really horrid. I mean they weren't in his loft causing damage and sleepless nights were they? Humans kill things for fun (and foxes and tame cats ...I know).
Then he puts the music over....I mean what is so smart about shooting a defenceless animal for no reason?
Sorry to go off on one but it upsets me...... killing for sport bugs me....I am A Towny.
WADR, if you ever find yourself in the situation of having a squirrel get inside your house roof and see the damage they do/hear the noise they make then you would quickly be all for killing them/"pest control".
I used to be one of the 'aww aren't they all cute and fluffy' brigade when it came to squirrels but there is in fact nothing cute nor fluffy about them when you are - or your property is - on the receiving end of their teeth. Squirrels are just rats with fluffy tails, ie. vermin. I bet you wouldn't bat an eyelid at a rat being shot...0 -

No.
The video shows squirels being shot by a pest controller with an air rifle.
I don't want to look at it again so I'll take your word for it but they were feeding off a pole and being filmed from a window then one just dropped down.
When we looked at getting them out of the loft I don't recall seeing any ads for someone to come in and shoot them in my local paper. It was just poison (which is more nasty) but they didn't eat it anyway.
Bloke who did our soffit put babies in a box and made noise so all the others ran out of holes. I'll have to ask OH what he did with them as wasn't in at the time. Maybe wring/wrang (sp) their necks?0 -
I preferred the line of conversation about what we taste like tbh.0

Has anyone here actually caught gutted and eaten an animal?
This last half a century is the first time in human history where kids havent grown up used to it.
Just because you buy meat in the supermarket doesnt mean its any different to killing the animal yourself.0 -

And gain some interest on it too0 -

Yes and for more than 1 reason.
But it's not possible for everyone to be with nature but they should learn and understand where their food comes from, be it meat or vegetables.0 -

No smoking ban........plenty of drugs what more could you want? The most beautiful emotion we can experience is the mystical. It is the power of all true art and science.
He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead.
