Buy a roll of sandwich bags (you get 50 on a roll on the Tesco Value ones) and divide your chocs out so that you have a few each week.
Put the bulk of them away somewhere where you find hard to reach to avoid eating more of them.
Yes but where would that place be exactly????!!!!!:EasterBun0 -
I had the bright idea of putting a tin of chocs in the loft to 'hide' them. Not to be recommended I forgot the extemes of temperatures up there and they were inedible when I got them down. The creams were rock hard and the rest had a white coating. Still think of all the calories I saved!
Wish biscuits kept as well ... just opened an older tin of shortbread and they are ok but softish.0 -
Between them, my sons had a hearty haul of chocolate selection packs and apart from the dairy milk and buttons they don't seem that keen - probably a blessing! Their dad seems to be making a valiant effort to help out and I've had the odd Crunchie bar but I need help!
Does anyone have any tried and tested recipes for using up the leftover Fudge, Chomp, Crunchie and Caramel bars? Since I have very little sense or self-control when it comes to such things I'd ideally like a freezable recipe or some cookies that I can stick in jars and take to friends in the new year.

Thanks. I'd spotted that thread and meant to refer to it in my post. I'm sure I've heard of things for bars like the ones I've mentioned in the past though so hoped someone might have a family favourite recipe for Crunchies for example.0

I bet you could melt Chomp and Caramel bars down and make Rice Krispie cakes with them - you could add dried fruit or glace cherries and make them as little petit fours rather than 'buns', they'd make a nice gift.0

You can make nice milkshakes with them.
I could make it better myself at home. All I need is a small aubergine...
I moved to Liverpool for a better life.
And goodness, it's turned out to be better and busier!0 -
Had a Crunchie Cheescake before, it was a vanilla cheesecake with crushed crunchie in - lovely.0

fudges are great choped up and added to a cookie mix ( cut in half length ways then chop up) if you need a cookie recipe that can be frozen pre cooked just pm me, I would add 3-4 bars of fudge or less is adding in normal chocolate too.Still TryingGrocery challenge July 2016
