I was burgled back in 1990 in Londonin my shared student house. I came in the house and thought...hhmmm, where is the microwave? went upstairs....hhmmmmm, where is Vicky's stereo??

Police came and found everything dumped at the end of the garden and say that they were half way through doing the house (TV's were still in the house) so it was lucky they were outside when I went in. They also said it was highly unlikely they would come back.

I usually put mine up around 10th but with the decorating they went up on the 17th, which was nice as it felt a bit more Christmassy. Usually by then, it feels a bit 'oh, come on, let's get to the 25th can't we?!' I always leave them up until 6th though.

My Christmas decorations will be coming down on the 2nd January its bad luck to take them down before New Year I hear:eek:

My decs will be coming down on the 2nd too - I love them but I like a few days tidying up time after new year.

I must have a word with in law relatives about the ridiculous amount of selection boxes that kids have received, 12 boxes, it's f o o k i n g ridiculous!

Spud you poor thing, glad your dog gave them the scare they needed!!

Been to work this morning, very quiet but gave me the chance to reduce all the clothes and start our sale...better late than never but business has been good so didn't see the need to do it before today.

Took DD down to weymouth beach this afternoon as she wanted to play football but my god it was so cold and she was screaming after about 5 mins so we came home.

Going to spend this evening sorting these photos out for this wedding, then I can get paid and then I can sort out finances and budget for 2009!

Ive just been to Woolworths last day, got 5 rolls of sticky back plastic, 6 Special k bliss bars (yum), 2 combination padlocks and some '21' confetti stuff for my nephews birthday bash for the princely sum of 69p , the absolute sh!te some people were buying :rolleyes:
