Yes, we were at home, but we're all ok.
The police seem to think it probably was the bloke from Wednesday. They think he was disturbed by the dog, so luckily he didnt get anything, just wrecked our french doors in the conservatory. We've had to tie them shut because the frame is all buckled, and we cant really afford to get em repaired so soon after blimmin Christmas
Scene of crime officers have been, fingerprinted the doors, and us
I'm amazed the police came out, let alone within 10 minutes of ringing them. The first lot had only just left, when the SOCOs turned up.
The kids are a bit spooked by it all, but we're trying to think that he didnt actually come in, just opened the door then went

Its brilliant having a dog! more pressies for her I say!
that is good news actually (as in no one was hurt and he didn't get anything) , I did think they were fairly incompetant burgalars if you still had your computer. And the police came too! amazing
Huge bloody nusiance on the door front tho.
Can you claim on the insurance? ?

It's brilliant having a dog with a bark like ours has. Even the postman wont come to our house. Even the police men werent overly keen to come in :rotfl:
I could calim on the insurance but I think our excess is £100, not sure how much getting the door fixed would be. I will ring a few placed for quotes on Monday. Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I feel sure that a local firm would be up for the business of new doors . they may even ( although it would not be moral;) ) take into account the excess.
