    hello everyone

Hope you all had lovely Christmasses!

    Today, not much:

Checked online banking but no changes cause of BH and weekends.
    Daily scratchcard - 20p!
Still at M&Ds so eat for free - well, actually not cause I went and did the shopping, £7 but it's worth it for the amount I haven't spent on food so far!
Into town with brother whose wife is expecting to show him where cheap baby clothes were (Primark!) - spent nothing myself except 90p on Vaseline in Boots. He bought her lots of Sanctuary stuff, so I got the Boots points (he lives in Russia so no point having an Advantage card!)

    That's all I think xx

Eaten more turkey & stuffing sandwiches....

  • Called into woolies this morning got two pairs kids jeans, 3 kids t shirts, 6 dishwsher fresheners, 2 large rolls of birthday wrap, a glue gun, couple bars choc, and some tubs playdoh and it came to £5.46:eek: - sad day though knowing it will be gone forever, already the shop next door - Rosebys has closed so two empty stores on the high street - not good :(

    I've updated my accounts
reduced my overdraft to £1000 which means £650 off this year alone and i'm achieved my target.
Worked out a new dfd, it's looking more realistic to hope for Christmas 2011 but still seems miles away
got washing out (washed overnight on cheap leccy) hasn't dried but will tackle that tomorrow
freezer fodder for dinner, and have frozen a batch of turkey curry from yesterday
went shopping and returned tiles and sealent, and purchased some stuff to finish off the flat in the sales. Managed to whedle some laminate at almost half price :)
awaiting someone to collect some stuff listed on freecycle, will talk to BIL to help us take the rest to the tip

Sounds like many people have had a successful day. Candy, doesn't sound like you have been bad, rather wise indeed to get next year's christmas stuff now.

Great news tallie on all the sales stuff and getting most of your pressies, you'll definitely notice the difference as the year goes on. I received some beauty goodies for Christmas and more perfume off the other half, but am pleased my stores are going down. You should join us on the 100 day challenge, there are quite a few of us vouching not buying beauty products for 100 days and using what we already have, up instead.

I also put my details into some price comparison sites for car insurance and was pleased to see that although its not due for another few months, it should be around £70 cheaper and i can go through quidco for an extra £40:T

Am now going to go and read my book for free entertainment, after checking out things to do on my wish list. Have a great evening everyone.

    Evening all,

    My dfw things for today:
    • petrol at Tesco and got points
    • found 101 point receipt and added at customer services
    • points added for reusing 3 bags - no bargains at all in Tesco - prices still expensive in my opinion
    • found 5p
    • M&S - spent about £15 on another Xmas ornament, a couple of sets of 4 silicon cupcake cases with 2 recipe card (one for DS and one to put away for present - not that cheap but cute!), a sticker book, another book with blocks and a small hard skin trimmer thing to put aside for part of mums next present and novelty socks.
    • Asda - I didn't have a good look but prices looked the same as Xmas Eve. I just got a reduced pack of fuses.
    • TK Maxx - returned shirt which didn't fit DH and got money back on gift card
    • put clothes into charity bin
    • had sponge cake for lunch (DH made as one of 3 Xmas deserts)
    • Turkey curry for dinner
    • Used 50p luncheon voucher at Greggs
    • Put aside a few items to be photographed and put on Ebay tomorrow.
    • Bid on one item on Ebay which I didn't win but may get a second chance offer from seller as I did get one a few days ago (I have brought from before)
That's all I can think of.
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
    Boots points: £0.28
    Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
    Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
    Rpoints:redeemed 28925 points)Cashbag:£8.91(£20)
