After splurging a lot £360 yesterday (sat nav and new PC - half from savings and half from Xmas money), I more than made up for it today by getting my Mum and best mate's birthday pressies in the sales! Bought them toiletries sets reduced from £20 to £5 each. Quite chuffed with that.
Will be in for the rest of the day watching the Old Firm game and setting up the new PC so no opportunity to spend money (probably for the rest of the weekend!)Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -

Hiya everyone
It's ages since I've used this thread so i'd like to start again to focus my mind a bit!! Today I/we have:
- taken the dogs for a walk to the park (cheaper than the gym!)
- had left over christmas dinner / nibbles for lunch
- bought the place mats I wanted before christmas in the sales at half price (but sent DH so I wouldn't be tempted by other stuff in the sales)
- spent half an hour looking for 10 year fixed mortgage rates so I can compare them in a few weeks)
- designated the rest of the day as a PJ day to play games and stuff we got for christmas
We'll also have a leftovers dinner tonight.
I think that's it for today....see you tomorrow! xx0 -
