    C:\WINDOWS\system32\DfrgNtfs.exe

is it running slow 'coz you have a defragger trying to work in the background ??

No..the defragger had just been put on...a friend suggested it..but I paused it when doing the Hijack This and now i have stopped it all together

Did you run the Malwarebytes scan? if not can you do so. if you did can you please post the log.
can you please post CCLEANERS info I asked for?

As for the Hijack log. I cant see anything obvious (Though a couple of things might be dodgy)
I also notice your using PCGuard! This is generally regarded as a very poor anti virus program. (And therefore you MUST run a FULL malwarebytes scan to check for nasties).
get TASK MANAGER up and running. What are the 3 highest cpu usage statistics?(other than SYSTEM IDLE)

Hiya...I did do the full malware bytes..the log is above...how will i kno what is the 3 highest CPU usage? Thanks

The CC Cleaner said 'MS Windows XP Professional SP" Intel Pentium III Mobile CPU 1000Mhz 127MB RAM Mobility Radeon

Thats the reason its so slow. You have 256Mb Ram (the graphics chip is taking some which is why it reads as 127)
You REALLY need to upgrade. Id recommend 1 Gig of Ram for a HIGH increase in speed
Uninstall your anti virus and install Avira as requested.

    Switch on Windows firewall.

Once youve upgraded the Ram you need to goto WINDOWS UPDATES and install Service Pack 3

    Press CONTROL, ALT and DELETE
    Select TASK MANAGER then PROCESSES
Look under CPU. It will fluctuate like mad but will give you an indication of which programs are using the most resources. But until you sort the RAM out, its going to be ultra slow anyways.

    Download SANDRA LITE
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_sandra_lite/
Goto MAINBOARD and scan down to your memory modules
Tell me everything under TYPE and SPEED

Ok thanks..can I upgrade it ..or will I need to go to a computer shop...and what price am I looking at? Also can't I get rid of the graphic chip? as I don't know what benefit it has to me?

You need the graphics chip. The computer would run even slower without it (And I dont think it can be removed anyways)
Its a simple case of flipping the laptop upside down, unscrewing the flap and unclipping the memory it has now. then clipping in the new memory.

Once weve established what memory it is you should be able to order some from PLAY.COM (seems cheapest and best from what ive seen)

    Try the crucial tool instead
    http://www.crucial.com/uk/

Id have sworn it was called 'PC GUARD' on the program list. Very odd!
    Open CCLEANER, goto TOOLS
Is it in THAT uninstall list?
