well i am so mad i phoned yesterday and was told that the phone was defo being sent out today the order was in my nephews name as i was ordering for him yet it is paid on my card - the customer service officer had no probs yesterday telling me all this info - yet now i phone and the mr jobsworth says he cannot give out any info as the order is in my nephews name, my address my card etc- and that no phone is going out as they are out of stock yet he confirmed payment had been taken on my card !!!! i said well are you going to refund me or what then he says as the order is in your nephews name he needs to cancel - yeh right he is 8 years old !!!!! it is my card that paid etc etc - he said well i can just tell you no phone is coming - yet they took my money - i said when will i get a refund then he said get your 8 year old nephew to phone us and we will cancel otherwise your phone will come when it is back in stock could be several weeks - !!!! so i either wait around for the phone to come in a few weeks to be then told they cannot get any and have to wait for my refund

Orange absolutely stink - i am a contract customer yet would never consider doing business with them again !!!!
so anyone else who have not had confirmation email to say it has been dispatched i doubt you will get yours today either - i am just fuming that the lady told me yesterday it was all parcelled up and waiting to go - stinking liar !!!!!

I ordered one of these as soon as the thread was posted on the 27th, the order went through fine but no email. Spoke to one of the customer service guys later on in the afternoon and was assured it was being processed and delivered tuesday 30th dec.

just phoned now and what a surprise told it was out of stock and whether I would like to cancel my order. Anyway was assured it would be back in stock and dispatched asap.

Here's hoping!!!!!!!!!!

orange customer service do suck, i was on contract with them for 8 years and had all kinds of problems when i wanted to leave getting pac codes etc. in the end i lost my number which i was gutted about having had it since 1995.

have to say though does an 8 year old need a mobile? my kids aren't getting one until they are at least eleven.

last time i ordered one from them it arrived at 5.30 cos parcel line said the time was up until 5.30 so we will just have to wait . fingers crossed guys mhope we all get are new mobiles

I've just been told by Orange that they are out of stock even though I was debited £28.50 a couple of days ago. Should get an email when they come in again.

I'm pretty sure that Orange has a stock level system in place so everyone who have received a confirmation email should get the phone today.

Mine hasn't arrived, it's upto end of day delivery. I'm not concern at all.
