couple of questions about credit rating....

Hello there,

My partner does not have a good rating and i do have a good rating.

last month i paid a loan of for her, out of my current account as i had plenty to cover it, this will not affect me at all will it? only reason i ask is that i read on martins tips that you shouldn’t join or share any cards if your partner has a bad rating, keeping them separate is better.

Also, if we go on Experian to look at her history in detail will this show on the report and count as a negative thing?

Thanks guys.

  • As long as you have not applied for a joint credit account, nor share an existing credit or current account then your finances will not be linked and so should nto negatively impact you,
