depends what file format you have the currently stored as?

    Are they Wav?

if you find out what format they are and post back I should be able to advise you how to convert them

do a search for a programme on google called audacity, I use it for editing, converting alot of my files and its very useful to have

Heres a bit of advice too...

    1. Buy a memory card as internal memory is very small on the v3i
    2. transfer the files via usb, Card readers are good will cost you about £10 from places like ebuyer plug into usb port and its all drag and drop
    3. Edit your tracks... A phone will only usually ring on average for 15-25 seconds so there isnt much point in having a 4 minute track on there!!

I use iTunes which I got with my iPod. However, there are many free programs which will convert, do a search on Yahoo Google for MP3 players

You can get i-tunes for free from Apple's website - http://www.apple.com/itunes/

If you have Windows as your operating system, you should be able to change the settings on it to grab the tracks as mp3s, as follows:

    1) Go to tools>options

    2) Go to rip music and under "rip settings" use the drop down menu to select MP3 as the format.
