A cheap chest of drawers/tallboy?

Where can I get a decent chest of drawers/tallboy for the bedroom? There are some in Ikea but I feel £185 for a few bits of wood that I have to put together is a bit steep!

I was going to suggest Ikea, but can see you have looked there!

£185 sounds quite a lot, but you have not said how tall or wide you need it to be. If you want a huge one, then maybe £185 is not that bad.

I want quite a large one.

Went to Ikea today.. they had one in the bargain corner but as it was pre assembled it wouldn't fit in my car! (It was perfect and only £100.)

Furniture land Bolton looks great and good value but can't buy online.

Ormus, have you bought from them before? What are they like?

We always check Bargain Corner & have had a few results there, too!!

But oftewn wonder just WHY anyone would go to the bother of buying some of the stuff, new, taking it home, building it & returning it, unless it was faulty!!

guess they don't all use the free paper, tapemensures first!!

yes bought loads off them. good prices and good service. they will haggle too, esp if you buy 2 items or more.
just phone them and place an order over the phone.

Do you have a pine shop near you?

They sell chest of drawers cheaper than Ikea and you don't have to assemble them.

Have seen them a lot cheaper than that in IKEA and qood quality.
