:santa2: Hi All, I have been reading like a maniac to catch up with your thread - and I know I'm a bit late for this year but I am gonna try to make some stuff before I run out of time. Anyone know how to squeeze more hours into the day.

Anywhoo the reason I'm posting is I have a link for you - it's not crafting but it is Christmassy. It's a personalised video message from Santa. http://portablenorthpole.tv/home

My daughter has cut the vinyl for me to make something similar to this...
    Holiday Glass Block Set

il_430xN.45307757.jpg, I went yesterday to B&Q to get the glass block and horror!!!!! they don't sell them singular now. I tried 2 other large chain diy shops and they no longer sell them. Tonight we had to go back to B&Q so I looked again to see if different staff might do a search. No staff in the department so on my hands and knees I searched the back of the display YIPPEE 1 block but no barcode so I went to customer services and explained the whole situation. A manager passing by was asked how could she price the block, his reply "Merry Christmas have it for free" I would have paid full price so this was great MS.

This is vinyl cut on a Cricut expression. The white part on mine is an overlay with brown underneath. The design of eyes buttons etc are cut out of the white part so that when you overlay it the brown shows through on the eyes etc. Also mine has brown twigs type arms so the 1st layer has the arms etc attatched. Gosh I made a mess of explaining that! She doesn't have the exact snowman but I love her taste in craft so I left it up to her and also her sending me links on Skype, she lives in America. We have great fun crafting together over skype :)

    I  it too!

Wondering whether you could replicate the effect just using glass paints and letreset?
