I want to make up some "bath salts" and home-made soaps as a basket fillers. It says in the book I have to use "cosmetic colourings" to colour the salts but it says you can use food colouring to colour the soaps, can I use that in the salts as well?
Also is it too early to make up my snowman soup cones? :rolleyes:0 -
irishgirl -love the bookmarks.............how do you get the card to stick to the paper clip ?
Wouldn't mind putting them on my next years list of 'stuff to do':j
I used double sided tape... there is another blank scallop on the back so double sided tape on both sides sticks it to the paperclip if that makes any sense?I am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:

love the sockstails would you mind if i had a go at making some
Hi course you can have a go. i love sharing ideas on here. i've "borrowed" ideas from other people so i dont mind if anyone uses my ideas. I thought the socktails would be a nice girly twist on the pint o socks. post some pics if you manage to do them.
My sale on saturday went well. i sold quite a few mini sock monkeys (with window suckers for hanging on windows), magic reindeer food, and my wooden signs. those 3 were my best sellers.
On the xmas presents front, i'm finishing off cross stitch bookmarks this week, got some mini sock monkeys to finish next week, then i should just have my christmas hampers to do, although i really have no idea where to store them once i have made them all up!! just got a one bedroomed flat, roll on next year when we can start looking for a two bedroomed house!!:heartsmil Getting Married 11th June 2011 to the lovely Graham:heartsmilWedding/honeymoon fund so far £69000 -
It is an American measurement and you can get a set of measuring cups quite cheaply, about £2 for 6 cups. This might help or it might just confuse you more!.. http://www.miketodd.net/encyc/cooking.htm
Thanks Sethsgran. i think i have managed to use that link to convert for now but i will get some measuring cups when i get chance. does anyone know where i can get them from?V 12500 B 8300 N 1900 Oct £51/£1550
