  • So, I'm gonna be a little off the wall here but does anyone fancy joining me in making one of these this year...

I mean did you ever get a reaction that good to any of your crafting before? I think if you can knit or crochet or sew you could easily make it a crafty box too, add in a bookmark, a flannel reindeer, a sock cupcake... I mean the options are almost endless...

This has really touched my heartstrings. I think my son would love to put one of these together. He is five and has so much himself, but is just starting to learn the value of "things"

That is a great idea foxy! If you look through the site there is a story on there about a bear who gets sent to another country, it is really sweet and made me a little teary! I think if your son made one for a little boy just like him in another country he could choose all the best stuff for them and have a real appreciation of Christmas for another child :)

sethsgran = really cute snowman.............daren't take on any more snowmen................haven't done the wooden ones yet -just need to get the wood.

Been trying to do some primitive folk art type sewing and not getting on very well..........It looks so easy. I was going to do some little embroidered squared having on a cord across the dresser.................think that plans shelved now...............I'll stick to the 'soft trees' and plant pots with cones in................:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
