That's not technically true.
Fragrance oils, the types used for candles, are mainly cosmetic grade. This means that they will not harm the skin and should be fine for use in wheat bags etc. If in doubt have a look at the seller and that should tell you. You can get excellent synthetic copies of most essential oils in a fragrance oil nowadays so there is no need to spend so much on essential oils.
Essential oils are more expensive and are the true extracts of the plant. If it is aromatherapy claims you want to make on your products you would need to use these but sice making such claims requires certificates and such I think you would be fine with fragrance oils.
There is a HUGE range of fragrance oils out there and there are some really lovely ones that you just can't make with essential oils. 'Christmas Spice' is a firm favourite

robin breakfast pots.........shortened version of 'robin redbreast's Christmas breakfast............lol
OH's idea when I was trying to work out what to do with some little plant pots I'd been given for seeds.........six were red then OH found some terracotta colour ones in the porch.
General idea is to cover the hole at the bottom....put bird seed in, cover the top with perspex (must be fairly tight fit) and stick a robin on the top -=the sort you get for cakes - and its 'robins christmas breakfast'
Wanted to add it to little grandsons christmas eve box all ready to put out on Christmas morning -loads of adults are getting them as well...............lol:rotfl:
Just waiting on the robins now.
I'd put a piccy up when they're done but haven't got a digi cameraI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
