I wanna buy a brand new car

I wanna buy Kia Ceed (or Cee'd ;) S 1.4.

The cheapest price I have found so far is £7999. I presume that this is a pre-registered one (which is fine with me).

Has anyone seen a cheaper price?

We have some savings, enough to buy the car. Any tips for negotiations?

Thanks

Might be better on the motoring board.

However, I had a search around and I can't match that price.

To get anything at a better price than that, it'd have 5-10k on the clock and be a year old.

    WHY............?!
  • i would imagine the long warranty is attractive
  • Good choice, that warranty is not to be sniffed at.

If mainstream cars interested me, which they don't, i'd certainly consider one of these.

Presumably the manufacturers of supposedly better cars will cotton on one day, and put their money etc and match the warranty to prove that they too have faith in their product.

I still remember when some people used to sneer at Japanese cars and motorcycles, i have a feeling Korean cars will be the same story. (even if they are made in Eastern Europe).

i would agree with this, nissan have lost thier reliability status since getting in bed with renault. i tend to think the korean cars will be the next big thing here, plenty of them around already. we live in an already disposable world so why spend £30k on a bmw when you could spend £10 on something korean,it will still last the 2 or 3 years you plan to own it.
the only thing holding them back is the terrible styling, which has partly been address with the new ceed.but not quite there yet.
