NAT 2 is fine
I have a belkin router myself which I use with my PS3. Is there anything else connected to the router which might be using a lot of up or downspeed?
Id suggest turning everything else off and just running the router and the PS3 to see if that connects:idea:0 -

You HAD a NAT2 before so I assume all the connection info is correct? (SSID, WEP key etc)
If so you might just have to wait it out (Too many people online perhaps?)

Yes prob too many online,this happened when xbox live started,couldnt keeep up with the influx.Chelski wherever you may be
