PS3 - Connection to Playstation Network Problem!

Hi Guys,
I have connected my PS3 to the web (can access browser on it etc) however whenever I try to sign into the Playstation network it times out and a message pops up saying that if connection is taking a long time i should check my internet connection? (I have gone through all the registration bits with no probs!) What should I do?? I have a Belkin ADSL2 + Modem with wireless G Plus MIMO Router if thats any help?

Whats the NAT type under 'settings and connections status
It must be Nat 1 or 2 to work ok (3 is bad):idea:0 -
Has been a bit temperamental this morning eventually got in, just must be busy. But to me the Net seems slow today especially High Street Store Websites Comet frequently times out. Must be that time of year I guess.Cheers
