I stayed in the Hotel Condestable April 2003 and it cost £45 aroom - probably more expensive "Peak" times. It's a good City centre "budget" Hotel

Two sites well worth a look-see are;
https://www.backpackglobe.com They offer hotels and hostels and cover Spain, as well as just about everywhere else, I just got an all inclusive hotel deal for £17 per night in Tunisia at HALF TERM with no single suppliment. ( they charged per room NOT per person) ;D

Also, https://www.findspainrooms.com hundreds of rooms at a wide range of prices available. Cant tell you about the areas but the site appears to give lots of local info.
