Mine have BBE dates of end of April 20090

Mine were supposed to be delivered on the 25th but got them today.
I ordered one of the big party boxes of cappuccino chocolates for an event and there's about 10 of them that have been crushed into pieces due to the flimsyish box. My other choccies were intact. Should I bother e-mailing them to complain?0 -
Extra items? How much did you guys spend? I've spent about 70 quid with them this week and didn't get any extras!! Awww!!0

Ideally it's best to check what has been delivered before giving the courier a clean signature, though. Thanks to all who post constructively.

You're right. They always seem to be in such a rush and annoyed in having to come so far (middle of nowhere) so I just sign without checking!
This is the second time this week my choccies have come damaged!
I can't expect them to send me a new box though? It's a big box!0 -
I bought 4 large boxes of chocs when they were half price from Thorntons last year. They were delivered on the wrong day. I phoned to complain, and they sent free replacements on the day they should have been sent.
For anyone not happy, I would contact them. I was really impressed with their customer service.0
