Getting Paid Over Christmas On the 28th Dec

Erm no, normally wage runs over an xmas period have to be done manually as they would be set to automatically run on the same date each month. As has been said it was probably picked up too late by your wages department and there now is not enough time to run it to get peoples pay done before christmas.0

Do you not have people working in your payroll dept? I have yet to come across a company that has a completely automated payroll system. How does the computer know how much to pay/ who to pay etc? :rolleyes:Gone ... or have I?0 -
I'm not sure how much of a difference it'll make to be honest if you usually get paid on the 28th of the month, it's only one day and most DD's etc won't go out till the Monday if they're set up for a date that falls on a weekend?
Best bet is to call your bank, ask them to make a note on your account and in the event you get charges/returned DD's etc then they may be able to sort it out for you.
As an aside, I've noticed that a lot of my DD's over the last few years (all currently in place for the 25th/26th/27th as I get paid the 25th of each month) tend to go out a couple of days late over the Christmas period anyway.
