I have searched the forum and can't find any mention of this offer. Apologies if it's been mentioned before. If you register with orange (click here), you can get 300 text messages free. It says you need to top up your payg first but I registered on Saturday and haven't yet and when I dialled 453 to get my balance it told me I've got 299 texts left to use before midnight on 15 February. Just sent another message and my credit hasn't gone down and I've got 298 text messages left. Can't see a catch. :j
Edit 17 Jan. Looks like this only is a good deal if you like to text a lot rather than make calls. Calls aren't that cheap (40p to non orange mobiles, 20p to orange and landlines, 10p texts). Probably not worth signing up if you are on a good deal for calls already.

Thanks for that. I must admit I didn't look at the T & Cs. It was my daughter who told me about the free textspricefighter wrote:According to the T&C its only the second month and onwards you must top up by £10.The first month you get them irrespective of your spend.
so I just went ahead and registered. To be honest I don't text much anyway, but may as well use them up (if I don't get rsi!). :rolleyes:0 -
I would change from the O2 one to Orange if the texts kicked in sooner. As it is if I missed my topup date on Orange and went into the next month then topped up, the texts wouldn't start until the next month whereas with O2 they start within 24 hours.0
