Stopping a move of broadband supplier, any way?

Options
Hi,

I ordered a change of broadband supplier and gave them my MAC code.

Is there any way now to stop this change as the new provider has proved to have the most horrendous customer service I have ever suffered.

I do not want to be held to a 12 month contract with these idiots.

Your help appreciated.

  • Tiscali.

Ordered phone and broadband package for my mothers line and its turned into a hell of a mess and I their support is awful, truly terrible.

That and I am being billed multiple times now by different companies, long story, no happy ending and I dont want that to happen on my line now.
  • If your line is with BT retail and is being migrated to tiscalt full llu then BT retail can cancel the order as long as its 2 working days before 4pm when the transfer is due to take place. As a mac is being used this may not be the case so only option is to get Tiscali to cancel
  • I had the same problem with sky went to go with them from primus changed my mind then they carried on with putting the tag on the line I wanted to go with aol and was told that i would have to get a new mac code from sky . in the mean time they had dent me a router which because i thought i'd cancleed i had returned
  • I know its all turned into one heck of a mess.

And I don't doubt they will switch me but I have asked within the cancellation period as far as I can see so I will just have to ask them for a MAC code and move on that way possibly?
