6270 recieving problems

Just putting my 6270 to the test and i cant send to the phone from my pc or another bluetooth phone, i also tried sending via infra red but that isnt working either only error message i get is error in sending the only thing i have managed to send is a .jad photos and .jar files fail, i have set things up in the same way my d500 and nokia 6680 are set up and working fine just not sure why this one isnt.
Any ideas please?
