Stansted airport parking help?

Can anyone please help me find cheap parking at Stansted airport in May (3 days)? The cheapest I've found is with Pink Elephant.... £7 per day.

I've seen the other thread about parkandgo.co.uk, but that seems a lot more expensive!

Or if anyone knows any discount codes etc for Pink Elephant (if they do them!), that would be helpful too.

Pink Elephant are one of the most expensive, the cheapest is the Bishops Stortford Football Club, I always use them and they are brilliant. Unfortunately I dont have the link but if you google search it will come up.

You book, turn up hand in your keys and they have mini buses waiting for you. THey drop you outside the entrance to the airport, and when you return yo call the number they give you and they pick you up, in a mini bus.

Very simple system and very helpful people. I prefer them to Elephant as they are 24hr maned, where as Elephant oporates a rotating bus, so you could be there ages, or could be lucky.

BSFC quoted me £33..... parkandgo.co.uk quoted me £46.

Compare them to Pink Elephant which quoted me £21!!!

I would say youve found the cheapest then.Ialso use BSFC.

But £21 for 3days SECURE parking is a result.Works out aprox 30p an hour.

I cant park in my local town for that!!!.

Yep go with Pink Elephant then, I dont think you will get cheaper, but as I said previously Pink Elephant are a bit of a pain to get to and from the airport so leave yourself plenty of travel time.

Gateway parking are far cheaper,although a bit offsite.Prices are between £3-4 a day depending on length of time parked.I'm parked for 3 days in feb for £12.

Gateway is a new parking operator for Stansted offering great value for money.

Distance to Airport
Transfers take 20 minutes - please allow 40 minutes for check in and transfer to the airport.

Transfers
Transfers are provided by the car park from 0500-2300hrs and operate every 30 minutes. Outside of these hours is on a request basis.

Arrival Procedures
On arrival go to reception to check in your car and hand in your keys. Your car will be parked either on the site or moved to a secured car park 2.5 miles away. Allow 40 minutes for check in and transfer to the aiport.

Departure Procedures
Call Gateway on 01279 731400 on arrival at the Baggage Reclaim Hall once you have collected your luggaage. Proceed to the end of the canopy in the Short Term Car Park E, from where the buses depart every 30 minutes.

FROM THE M11 (NORTH) - Exit the M11 at junction 8 and take the second exit signposted Takeley B1256. Go straight over first set of traffic lights and continue for approximately 3 miles. At the next set of lights (Four Ashes Pub on your left), turn right signposted Hatfield Broadoak and Hatfield Heath B183. Continue along this road for approximately 5 miles, going through Hatfield Broad Oak. You will come to a T junction, turn left onto the A1060 Chelsmford. Follow for 100 yards where you will see a sign saying Down Hall Country Hotel.,turn right here. After 100yds at the T junction, turn left. Follow this road for appproximately 1.5 miles, past the Down Hall Country Hotel on your right. Continue for approximately 1/2 mile and you will see Stone Hall Business Park on your right. Gateway reception is the last building on the left. FROM THE A12/A120 - From the A12, join the A120 (signposted Stansted Airport/M11/Colchester). Exit the A120 and take the slip road signposted Takeley (B1256). At the roundabout follow the signs to Takeley B1256 and continue along this road for approximately 4 miles. Continue for approximately 5 miles, until you reach Hatfield Heath. Follow signs for Down Hall Country Hotel. You will pass Down Hall Country Hotel on your right. Continue on for 1/2 mile and Stone Hall Business Park is on your right. Gateway reception is the last building on the left. Customers using satellite navigation should enter the postcode CM22 7AS, Down Hall Country Hotel, the car park is located 1/4 mile along the road on the right hand side.

Gateway are comprehensively insured to move your car. Whilst in storage, cars are parked at owners own risk and covered by your own insurance.

No arrivals or departures on 31st December, 1st & 2nd January. No Commercial Vehicles, Camper Vans or Vans allowed. The car park is located approx 9 miles from the airport.

are there any on site car parks offering a discount for disabled parking at stansted. went to gatwick last year and managed to use my tesco clubcard points at purple parking, unfortunately stansted dont have one
