Dormouse wrote:I got a freebie EA grapefruit & lime shower gel today (was 99p before the voucher). It was with the other shower gels, not with the other EA products (that shelf was looking very empty, as was the TD shelf!).
A 250ml see-though tube with turquoise stuff inside. Smells ok.
(that's the third type of shower gel Boots have been giving me free this month)
What was the exact name of this shower gel?0 -
samanthaknd wrote:My partner used to work for boots factory, I kid you not he got a specific day he was allowed to shop in the factory shop and got make up for me!. I swear on my life that I could get a whole set of cosmetics for under £5 I have still got most of the make up and he hasn't worked there for 4 years!. Thats why I don't shop at boots because I know how much they give it to their staff for. My Bf used to get me NO 17 foundation for 10p no 7 lipstick for 10p etc.
Shouldn`t of given that job up !! In fact...I am off for an application form !!(did he get points too ???!!!!)I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes0 -

pixiep wrote:I went into Boots (London Liverpool Street Station) yesterday and they gave me a £3 off voucher (valid 'til 31/01/06) for a range of hair care products including Charles Worthington, John Frieda and Toni & Guy. A number of the Toni & Guy and Charles Worthington products are under three pounds, including the CW "Take Aways" small bottles of shampoo and conditioner, which are £1.65 each. I picked a CW "brilliant shine styling glaze" for free (it's list price is £1.65). The best part is, I also used my boots card when "buying" the product, so I got six points (worth, oooh, a massive 6p!) For those ladies who like the John Frieda "Brilliant Brunette" or "Brilliant Blonde" shampoo and conditioners, those products are about £4.50 each, so the £3 savings does make a good discount, even if it's not free. Hope this helps!
In boots Wrexham the surly lad behind the checkout wouldnt let me use the £3 hair vouchers on miniatures!! ggrrrr....... I was filling my boots too..lol so i settled for Toni and Guy hair curl thing usually £3.99 (no way) but i got it for .99p and i spent the other vouchers on John Frieda stuff (he is dear too but with the vouchers it's not so bad is it?)0 -
theres one thing under £3 that isnt a minature, its a green charles worthington hairspray part of the frizzy hair range, called q&a i think.:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0

Last night I went into boots in York (Monks Cross) and they had EA lavender bathing powder at £1.00 (not reduced that was the price on the SEL) and also the lavender body mask reduced to £1.24 (from £2.49) so got them both for 24p . Looks like they'd come from the back of the stockroom though as most of them (there were about 6 of each) had tarnished lids (they're a funny silvery colour).
Had a couple of candles, pulse points and now these - helped stock up my pressie box a bit :j and all for 24p :money:Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Cheltenham branch had EA Balancing Gift Boxes reduced to 62p today - they are in a green metallic box and contain a 75ml Balancing Bath Essence and a Balancing Body Lotion 50ml. No SEL so had to take it to a till for a price-check - once I heard the price, I went and got 3 of them for free using my voucher. Very nice to give as a little gift0

I Only Got The Vouchers 2day, and i got the cheapest thing in the EA range which was ''pulse point gel'' (£1) but when she scanned it, it was only 50p.
I got a few more leaflets with the vouchers in. im gonna go again tommorow and get another one, and another one on sat. they didnt have the biggest selection of items (at rochdale branch) or maybe they were out of stock of those other items listed on the first page of this thread???
But i got it for free, Wicked0 -
I tryed to get some of the aroma range that were marked down and when i got to the till the refused me!!
i handed them a clensing td bottle and the coupon and the sa made me feel like a cheepo!!
he said i wasnt spending anything and i shouldnt use the vouchers for things that are under £5 because people have been misuseing the promotion (in front of the whole que!!)
i understand if people are buying a lode of them like someone that got over 18 items on this web as thats greedy but this was my first and only item and i think a lot of the people who know about this are rewining it for the rest of us by being greedy so they stop stocking it until the 1st of feb. Thanks every1 for making this website what it is, its helped me alot in the past!0
