ok so im all prepared. going to boots v early tomorrow! i need the candles (sis wants some for her candle collection) i know i need the lilac and that the coupon is one per transaction....
but say i go up to the till with 5 candles right? do i need one coupon and i get all the candles free in one transaction? or do i need to go through the whole 'different tills, different SA with one candle and one coupon at a time' ?
Hiya there, it depends on the cashier I had 4 pulse points and took them to the till, they were 50p each so in theory she could have done them in 2 transactions instead of seperately (I had 2 x £1 vouchers), but the SA would not do that. Instead at the till she did 4 seperate transactions so I did not have to go to 4 tills seperately.
So if you are getting 5 candles you will need 5 vouchers - and the SA can either do 5 seperate transactions or you can do 5 trips to the till. I usually do it in one hit. Good Luck and Happy Freebie hunting - welsh-dragon xx :rotfl:I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

I am going to do a hunt tomorrow to see if I can find some of these things tomorrow.
My mother is going to love me NOT. Making her trail around boots looking for offers.
Maybe I will leave her in woolies and make a break and see if there any more of those foot scrub things about.
I would like to get a candle as my husband does burn candles when he was a nice relaxing bath. Would be a nice a little exta pressie for him.

You can get any number of the essential aromotherapy items and use just ONE voucher in ONE transaction - the coupon will take £1 off EACH item. I have done this and it definitely works!!0

I cant believe it i finally manage to get some Td vouchers and the purple ones and it looks like they are withdrawing the cheaper stuff
Oh well, always the bridesmaid,
i will go out tomorrow just to double check though:D0 -
I have gone into Boots yesterday and today, no td products under £5.50 on display and no essential aromatherapy items at all. When I asked where the EA products were an assistant went into the back of the shop and came back with a basket of a variety of expensive EA products, none of the cheap ones mentioned here. I have a stock of leaflets of both colours though (and many more were on the shop display) so I'll keep trying till the end of the month.0

Try asking a SA if they have something specific in the Time Delay range (without waving the voucher at her of course!) - for example, the toner or the hand cream. I did that and the SA kindly went out the back and brought me one as well as a few more to go on the shelves. If you're not taking the mickey I am sure they will do that if it is in stock!
Look on the clearance shelves for the cheap Essential Aromatherapy items such as the pulse point roller gel. Not all are price-marked on the shelf but I got one of those for 50 pence then of course paid nothing with the voucher.
And I too have bought more than one EA item in one transaction, presented one EA voucher and it has deducted £1 off EACH item. I have presented a TD voucher at the same time and nothing has been said. I thought that was perfectly acceptable, especially as I always buy something else at the same time.
Good luck in spotting that hidden treasure tomorrow!0 -
i asked an sa in manchester if there was any time delay hand cream- she replied: "no, none of that!" like shouting at me, bloomin heck!:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0

I went into Boots (London Liverpool Street Station) yesterday and they gave me a £3 off voucher (valid 'til 31/01/06) for a range of hair care products including Charles Worthington, John Frieda and Toni & Guy. A number of the Toni & Guy and Charles Worthington products are under three pounds, including the CW "Take Aways" small bottles of shampoo and conditioner, which are £1.65 each. I picked a CW "brilliant shine styling glaze" for free (it's list price is £1.65). The best part is, I also used my boots card when "buying" the product, so I got six points (worth, oooh, a massive 6p!) For those ladies who like the John Frieda "Brilliant Brunette" or "Brilliant Blonde" shampoo and conditioners, those products are about £4.50 each, so the £3 savings does make a good discount, even if it's not free. Hope this helps!0

Our Boots has shelf notices on all these ranges with lots of exclusions, which are things like the minis, that's interesting to know they do go through, just depends on the assistant at the till.
Before Christmas the Brilliant Brunette was on promotion at a third off and had points, so I've got quite fond of the shine cream (not a tech term!) so it'll be nice to treat myself to another of thoseDo I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0
