Have you tried applying for funding ?

Didn't say they would (I've studied enough with the OU to know what the fundings like) but a lot of people still don't apply as they are unaware they qualify.
I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.

Quite right, but equally many people don't know that if you need help with funding you need to apply several weeks before the deadline for registration. There wasn't much point suggesting that the OP apply the day before the registration deadline!
