wow thanks for this, i think i will have to plan a new year trip to somerset!!

Also worth it (when you're so close) is STREET, the clarks outlet village.

They have a Timberland shop there (great mens shoes) & a Le Cruset & a Gaggia & a Lillywhites & Hallmark shop & loads more. The Marks isn't up to much, the Next is OK.

But only 12 miles from Shepton Mallet:D

Harvey Nicks clearly not very MSE as I saw the Bayswater in John Lewis today. Couldn't resist browsing the Mulberry Section after reading this thread and they had a reduced Mulberry Bayswater original price £595 reduced to £404.

    Was that a bargain? I couldn't decide.

  • Was in John Lewis yesterday and after reading this thread decided to have a look at these Mulberry bags to see what the fuss was about. I must say that I was distinctly underwhelmed. I thought they were...okay, but not worth the money at all. The leather wasn't that nice, they had raw edges, the one I looked at wasn't even lined. I have a leather handbag I got from Next that is buttery soft, with silk lining and beautifully made. For the price of that one Mulberry bag, I could have 15 of my nice Next bags. Or 1 nice Next bag and £500 in the bank. :rotfl:

    Hi all,

I have wanted a Mulberry Roxanne bag for years and always hear about others getting great deals. Does anyone know where I can get one of them for a few hundred pounds or less - the Darwin leather one? Ebay have tons of them, but I am wary as they could be fakes.

I've read in this forum that there is a factory shop(?) Is there a website?

Thanks so much for any help.

P.S. I am happy to purchase it second hand...

Register on a website called The Purse Forum. There is a Mulberry section on there and you will get great advice.

    Shepton Mallett, in Somerset.

I got my DD one (tan Roxanne) from the factor shop there for £240 (I think).
