Orange World 3 megs bundle question

Orange have given me their 3meg trial Orange World service for a month.

Can anyone tell me if this entitles you to stay in the Orange Wolrd section, or can the 3 meg allowance be used fpr other websites, such as Yahoo? I wanted to check my email on my phone without racking up a huge bill!

Does anyone know if I change my settings in Internet Explorer on the phone over to use WAP rather than GPRS if this will come off my inclusive minutes allowance (I'm on Orange 200 OVP tariff).

it will enable you to look at any site, not just the orange pages

go into the internet settings, you should be able to change the settings from gprs to wap. What type of phone is it?

Thanks for this. I have an Orange SPV C550. Are you saying that if I change the seettings to WAP I'll be able to look at any website on my phone and the minutes come off my allowance?

Why would you want to use your free minutes when you've got 3mb of downloadable data available? 3mb is a lot of mobile web data.

If you work on the basis that your can view on average 1000 mobile web pages for 1mb.
