Anyone know why I can't find out how many mins I have left on Orange contract?
Options
Hi all
I've been trying for the last 24 hours to get through to Orange (on 150) to find out how many minutes I have left of my package this month. However, I am constantly told that this service is unavailble.
Is anyone else gtting this too?
Is this affecting it: a spart of a money saving venture I put the SIM card from an orange 12-month contract on a Nokia 3120 into a payg Orange SPV C550. Might this have any effect on things?

probably just the system is down
just out of interest how is changing the sim from one phone to another a cost cutting exercise?0 -
I have been having the same problem on a new contract, when I rang 150 they said it was probably as the new contract has been set up and it wont activate until the first bill (on the 15th on my case)?
I was also trying to set up an online account on the orange website so I could check online. It got stuck in a loop, it said I needed to register then it would say it was already registered. In the end I had to get the techincal internet people to sort it. Cost me £1.50 (50p a min 3 min call):j0 -
It's cost cutting because the contract sim was 12-month free (200 x net mins and 200 texts first three months). I paid £99 with £5 quidco cashback for the orange SPV C550, and I also got £30 cashback for the contract ohone. I'll take out a text bundle after the first three months. Overall it should cost me about £8 a week for a really good phone with a fair number of mins and texts (it was the phone that I was after really). I can also sell the contract phone (a nokia 3120) to make it even cheaper!0
